The new MadeToTag version 4.2.143 for Adobe InDesign (including v21.5) comes with important bug fixes and improvements:

Book export: When exporting InDesign books, interactive elements were sometimes not transferred correctly into the document. This issue has now been fixed.

PAC check: Errors in the PDF Accessibility Checker (PAC), such as issues related to the “Placement Attribute”, are corrected with the new version, ensuring they no longer display in the PAC check.

UPDATE: Table tagging in InDesign v21.5

In connection with the new table functionality introduced in Adobe InDesign 21.5, we recently recommended holding off on updating to this version.

As of now, InDesign v21.5 can also be used reliably for table tagging with MadeToTag: The new MadeToTag version takes the changes introduced by InDesign into account and compensates for existing shortcomings. This means you can continue to benefit from MadeToTag’s proven features for creating correctly tagged, accessible tables.

Among other improvements, MadeToTag’s practical table highlighting has been enhanced accordingly: MadeToTag now supports the newly introduced column headers and makes their tagging directly visible in the layout, allowing you to easily verify that table cells are correctly associated with their respective headers.
