MadeToTag Automate is a plug-in for Adobe InDesign Server developed to automatically output large volumes of InDesign data as accessible PDF/UA files. The software is designed for use in process-driven production environments and provides the basis for a standardized, compliant PDF/UA export in high-volume production.

MadeToTag Automate can be flexibly integrated into existing workflow processes and can be used in a wide variety of production scenarios for exporting accessible PDFs. Whether the prepared InDesign data comes from database-driven templates, as individual InDesign files, as complete InDesign books, from script-based document creation, or from a custom workflow solution – the transfer of data to MadeToTag Automate can be customized.

When it comes to control, MadeToTag Automate fits seamlessly into existing system environments. As a plug-in for Adobe InDesign Server, it can be controlled via a scripting interface, through custom solutions, or for example via Enfocus Switch.

If your documents are being prepared to be PDF/UA-compliant using already the desktop version of MadeToTag – across a larger number of workstations – MadeToTag Automate enables you now to fully centralize and automate your PDF/UA export. For customers using axaios output automation solution MadeToPrint Server, connecting it with MadeToTag Automate allows the export of accessible PDFs to be integrated into the existing output workflow. MadeToTag Automate is addressed in MadeToPrint as an additional output target. This means that alongside established MadeToPrint Server features – e.g. hotfolder processing, token-based file naming, and centralized control of print and digital outputs – accessible PDF/UA files can now be generated Server-based within the same workflow.
