New MadeToPrint version supports InDesign 2026

We are excited to announce that MadeToPrint Standard/Auto and MadeForLayers are compatible with Adobe's latest InDesign version 2026 (v21.x). At the same time, the new MadeToPrint version 3.6.361 offers several new features and enhancements – and continues to support older InDesign versions as well.

Job ticket processing via AWS SQS

With the new version, MadeToPrint job tickets are no longer only passed via local hot folders – MadeToPrint is now also able to retrieve and process job tickets directly from an AWS SQS environment (Amazon Web Services – Simple Queue Service). This enables more flexible and modern options for automated control within MadeToPrint.

New export option: accessible PDF/UA

For all those who use MadeToPrint Standard/Auto and have also implemented MadeToTag – our tool for creating and exporting accessible PDFs – we are now offering a true workflow plus: With the help of MadeToTag, MadeToPrint can now also output PDF/UA files. This allows, e.g., a print-ready PDF and an accessible PDF to be exported in a single step – reliably and with just one click.

Further enhancements

In addition, new optimisations ensure even greater security for automated print output, among others:

  • Smarter: Image search can now consider multiple folders at the same time using tokens.
  • Extended: XML has been added as an additional export option.
  • More stable: An issue causing the Auto Mode to crash on restart has been fixed.
  • Corrected: Aliases in hot folders are now properly detected and processed.
