axaio MadeToPrint ready for Adobe’s Creative Cloud

Berlin, September 4, 2013 – axaio software, developer of solutions for PDF creation, printing and content correction workflows for the publishing and printing market, announces the immediate compatibility with Adobe’s Creative Cloud.

axaio’s InDesign plug-in MadeToTag already worked with the new InDesign CC version from the start, but MadeToPrint from axaio software is now also compatible with the new Adobe software. CEO Olaf Drümmer is proud: “Only three months after the launch of the new, fully 64-bit enabled InDesign CC, our product MadeToPrint is ready to support it. It has been a pleasure for us to achieve this, and I am happy we can offer our customers the freedom to choose which InDesign or InDesign Server version they prefer to work with.”

Creative Cloud gives customers the possibility to connect different computers through a real-time communication network. A membership gives them and their team access to the very latest versions of all the Adobe professional creative desktop applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and more — plus new features and upgrades as soon as they are available. With Creative Cloud, their entire creative work gets its own central dashboard to keep their ideas, files, fonts, settings, notifications, desktop applications, and team members in sync. But other than the name implies the applications live on their desktop; not in the browser and not in the cloud.

MadeToPrint

axaio MadeToPrint Standard is a plug-in for Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or InCopy and an XTension for QuarkXPress. Fitting neatly into those publishing applications, MadeToPrint Standard allows manual, one-click, print and export from design documents to one or more output targets.

axaio MadeToPrint Auto has all functionalities of MadeToPrint Standard but in a fully automated way using integrated hot folder support. It is the intelligent printing and exporting add-on, that relieves designers from all technicalities of preparing files for print. It solves output flaws, misprints, issues with layers, etc… by extending, enhancing, checking and streamlining all output processes. Production managers can create output jobsets once, making them available to all users, to get identical output from every workstation with just one mouse click.

In companies where high-speed, high-volume output is of the essence, axaio provides a true server application – MadeToPrint Server, including a restricted version of Adobe InDesign Server. The server can be configured remotely and guarantees higher reliability, stability and performance of all output workflows in InDesign-based environments. Teams struggling with insufficient or unfriendly output procedures even inside leading publishing tools can use axaio MadeToPrint Server to speed up and standardize printing and exporting.

Pricing and availability

Free trial versions of all these solutions with full support for Adobe’s Creative Cloud are available on the axaio website.

MadeToPrint Standard is available from € 349 and MadeToPrint Auto is available from € 2.490; MadeToPrint Server pricing until CS6 starts at € 5.490. For subscription prices of MadeToPrint Server for InDesign CC Server the local reseller needs to be contacted.
