MadeToTag Beta 3 available – try it out now!

Berlin – 9 May, 2012 - axaio software, developer of automation solutions for PDF creation, printing output and content correction workflows for the publishing and printing markets, introduces MadeToTag public beta 3. This latest version is an update of the Adobe InDesign plug-in for easy and fast preparation of InDesign documents to tagged PDF files, ensuring optimal accessibility.

The MadeToTag beta program started in January 2012 and since then a lot of updates and fixes have been added, making the product revolutionary when it comes to creating tagged PDFs. The latest version beta 3 of MadeToTag, which is available as from today, includes two major updates. First of all, a very useful feature with the promising name ‘Color Contrast Analyser’ has been added. This feature checks your InDesign document on missing color contrasts, always having in mind that it is important that the content of the final PDF document is not only accessible to the usual reader, it also needs to be easy to read for visually impaired people or people with low color vision.

Those who want to use MadeToTag with the new Adobe InDesign CS6 can do so right away – MadeToTag beta 3 immediately supports Adobe Creative Suite 6, released by Adobe earlier this week. To try out the beta 3 version, please click here to download it: madetotag.axaio.com/downloads

Tagged PDFs are essential for accessibility, so that screen reader devices for visually impaired people or reading software for users with learning disabilities can provide rich access to a PDF’s content. In addition, tagged PDFs enable substantially better indexing by search engines and more reliable text extraction or conversion to other formats.

Register for the free public MadeToTag Beta program

As successfully done before with the first two public beta versions of MadeToTag, users can actively participate in the realization of the final product by subscribing to the beta program. Everyone has the chance to bring in comments, ideas and solutions for improvement through discussions at the MadeToTag forum. The MadeToTag beta 3 version is available in English only and can be downloaded free of charge on the axaio software website. As a thank you for helping us make MadeToTag even better, all active beta testers are eligible to receive a 50% discount on MadeToTag once it ships (valid through pre-order or for 30 days after initial shipping date).

The MadeToTag public beta 3 version requires Adobe InDesign CS5.5 or CS6 and is available for Mac (10.5/10.6/10.7) and Windows (Vista and Windows 7). The final version of MadeToTag will be shipped in summer 2012.
