axaio software introduces MadeToTag Beta 2

Berlin – 20 March, 2012 - axaio software, developer of automation solutions for PDF creation, printing output and content correction workflows for the publishing and printing markets, introduces MadeToTag public beta version 2 - an update of the the Adobe InDesign plug-in for easy and fast preparation of InDesign documents to tagged PDF files.

MadeToPrint Auto/Server for PlanSystem4 is an Adobe InDesign add-on for automated status based output from wiithin Van Genneps publishing system. Users of PlanSystem4 benefit from the advantages of the MadeToPrint output possibilities, fully integrated in their publishing workflow to guarantee a reliable and effective output procedure. This way, publishers can streamline print and export operations for any publication formats, reduce error levels and have greater functionality and control over any type of output, which saves a lot of time and costs.

A few weeks ago, axaio software launched the beta program for axaio MadeToTag and as it has significantly evolved since then, today the enhanced Beta 2 version is available.

Tagged PDFs are essential for accessibility, so that screen reader devices for visually impaired people or reading software for users with learning disabilities can provide rich access to a PDF’s content. In addition, tagged PDFs enable substantially better indexing by search engines and more reliable text extraction or conversion to other formats.

Thanks to the dedicated help and input of the MadeToTag beta users and axaio’s developers the new beta version 2 includes a few new, very practical features and improvements. One of the main enhancements of the Beta 2 version is a feature to color highlight tagged text content for a better visibility and definition of the explicit text paragraphs of the text flow. Additionally the beta update includes:

  • Fixes in the problem locators
  • Export tags for paragraph styles
  • Improved tags for artifacts

To get a first insight into this new version of MadeToTag, Olaf Drümmer, CEO at axaio software, will be holding an English webinar on 21 March 2012, at 5 pm. Everyone is invited to participate. Please register here:
