With the integration of Adobe InDesign Server and MadeToPrint, axaio software launches a server based solution, taking automatic printing and exporting to an unmatched productivity level in a lights out processing environment.

MadeToPrint Server combines the performance and stability of an InDesign Server with the clever output options of MadeToPrint, offering a secure standard solution that no longer requires a desktop version of InDesign CS3 or CS4 to organize output processes. MadeToPrint Server comes with its own interface for the set-up of jobs directly on the InDesign Server and includes options for remote operation allowing the processes to run invisibly in the background.

MadeToPrint Server is axaio software’s latest, “real” server solution for output from and with InDesign CS3 and CS4. MadeToPrint Server combines the productivity and stability of InDesign Server with the clever output options of MadeToPrint that have been proven in everyday production. This combination produces a real export and print server whose capabilities are far beyond those of the desktop versions of InDesign and MadeToPrint. MadeToPrint Server represents a quantum leap in terms of throughput and reliability, particularly in environments where large quantities of data have to be funnelled centrally through InDesign-based production.

The MadeToPrint product bundle comprises Adobe InDesign Server and the corresponding MadeToPrint Plug-Ins. The package also includes a program that contains a graphical interface for configuring and using MadeToPrint Server. The name of this application is MadeToPrint AIR, and it is based on Adobe’s AIR and Flex technologies. MadeToPrint AIR gives InDesign Server a face and, thanks to its clear, user-friendly design, allows users to counteract the restrictions associated with command line control. The AIR application can also be used to control MadeToPrint remotely – the application and client can be installed and executed separately.

MadeToPrint Server can be integrated with vjoon K4 and Woodwing Smart Connection Enterprise for fully automated output right from the editorial system, configurators for Enfocus FullSWITCH and PowerSWITCH are also available.
